What are you paying for?

  • Paint-Anthony only uses the finest supplies available. His paint is free from artificial dyes, fillers and impurities. Anthony’s paints have a high concentration of pigment to ensure vibrant and accurate colors. This prevents a painting from becoming grey and dull over time.

  • Linen-When it comes to his artwork Anthony values quality above everything. He paints strictly on oil primed linen canvas. This is to ensure proper absorption and to prevent the paint from cracking and pealing.

  • Quality- All of these factors ensure your painting will last for generations - a painting with brilliant colors, painted on the best materials with all the time needed to make your portrait come to life!

Block-in layer vs Finished layer

  • Anthony then uses countless layers of thin paint to convey the translucency of skin. This part of the process will take up the majority of the time needed for your portrait.

 Factors to consider

Anthony will be very dutiful to insure you get the greatest portrait possible, while respecting your budget. The above prices are estimates. You should consider very carefully what you want to have included in your painting. Intricate clothing, jewelry, props and background elements can contribute to a more captivating and engaging portrait, but it will increase the time required to complete your painting. The size of your painting may also have to increase. Adding additional persons or pets will lengthen the process and also affect the final balance.

If you desire, Anthony can paint a smaller sized portrait-with the subject at a reduced size- at a reduced Price. If you desire a bigger painting then what is listed above, custom sizes are available at an increased rate.

Other issues regarding your costs are as follows. Framing is not included in the price of the painting. Travel expenses such as airfare hotels and car rentals will be billed to out-of-town clients, as incurred.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Anthony (who is vaccinated) will take all the necessary steps to ensure both you and him remain safe.
